Joico K-Pak Reconstruct Conditioner

Packed with a Keratin Silicone Complex (whatever that means ), this conditioner is seriously good for heat/ chemically damaged hair. I could feel the difference from day one, this seems perfect for just before and after colour treatments, especially during the cold winter months.

When a combination of bad weather and central heating does strange things to our crowning glory, moisture if what it craves. A small amount goes a long way, which means that at £13.60 at feelunique, this isn't so expensive.

If you're concerned about weighing down your hair, perhaps you have fine hair like mine, I would suggest using this a couple of times a week only or alternating with a less intensive conditioner. I've heard that for emergency rescue situations K-PAK Deep-Penetrating Reconstructor is supposed to be amazing. I haven't tried that one yet, but if any of you have, please let me know:-D

  1. I have tried the reconstructor, and I was not amazed. (I have fine and fragile hair)

There is a good one by Graham Webb - the one you mix A+B and get a mousse - but I don't know if it's available anymore.

Intrakera by Image is a very good leave in, and it works well to make your hair fibers more resilient. http://www.fragrancenet.com/image-shampoo/image/hair-care-products/hc/en_UK/02971

  2. Hi Renata,

I find this works best for me when I rotate it with non-protein conditioners and a mask once a week, but on top of that I use a leave in spray treatment and macadamia oil every time I shampoo. Like yours my hair is fine and fragile and I get regular highlights, so it's a constant battle. I will definitely try your suggestions. Thanks for the tip:-)
