Dead Sea Spa Magik Delicate Boosting Mask

This is certified as being organic, always a plus, and is said to be gentle enough for dry or sensitive skin while still removing impurities. While Dead Sea Spa Magik have another mask in the range that is probably more suitable for oilier skins, given that it had been a while since I'd used a mask, I thought this one would be the better option.

I've been using this for a few weeks now and I have to say it has made a difference. Heavy duty winter moisturisation had left my chin and nose a tad congested and this mask has gone a long way towards clearing that up. Spots and blemishes seem to be (knock on wood) fewer in number and best of all this is possibly one of the less expensive masks on the market. I got this at feelunique for £7.05. Fantastic! Another nice feature of this mask is the colour, yes the colour. I can use a face flannel for removal without staining it some awful colour. I have several flannels that started life out as white, but have become various hues of orange and green due after removing clay masks.

  1. Hiya,

I'm just about to buy this but thought I'd read your review first! Do you have sensitive skin? My skin is dry around my mouth but also very sensitive, not sure if I should risk trying this or not.. What do you think?

  2. Hi Kitty,

I do have sensitive, dry-combo skin. So, it's a constant balancing act. This didn't turn my face red or make it drier, which often happens when I use other masks. It's certainly worth trying as long as the skin isn't broken. Good Luck, hope it works out:-D

  4. Hey!

I have used the mask a few times now and it definitely helps my skin and doesn't react with it at all which is great! I wanted to ask what foundation you use? I use bare escentuals mineral foundation but I want to try a liquid one but need to find one that my skin can cope with!

  5. That's great news:-) From time to time I also use BE mineral foundations, but more often I tend to use MUFE HD Foundation. I haven't had any reactions to this and the colour choice is amazing. I find it's best to apply with a damp foundation brush and then buff or with the hands.
